“Our Student Ministry exists to reach the non-believing students, connect them with other Christians, to lead them to honor God with their life, to help them Grow in their faith, and to challenge the growing to discover their ministry.”
Because every church ministry has a diverse group of individuals who are at different levels of spiritual interest, a “Great Commission & Great Commandment-minded” student ministry will seek to reach and disciple these unique young people for Jesus Christ: the community, the crowd, the congregation, the committed, and the core.
We desire to establish and maintain a student ministry which is committed to these Biblical purposes:
Reach the Community:[Evangelism] reaching out to the student who is living apart from Christ. Community students do not attend church and have no spiritual commitment.
Connect the Congregation:[Fellowship] connecting the student who is committed to a relationship with Christ to His body of believers.
Grow the Committed:[Discipleship] to help mature the student who is committed to growing in Christ, on their own, through spiritual disciplines.
Honor God:[Worship] helping the student who is committed to hearing about Christ to love God while providing an example of authentic worship for crowd student to experience. The crowd student attends church but is not necessarily a Christian.
Discover their Ministry: [Ministry] challenging the core student who is committed to serving God, sharing Him with others, to discover God’s ministry for them.
