Important Update!
Dear Friends,
We are facing a resurgence in the spread of COVID across our country. The newer dominant strain of the virus is spreading more rapidly than expected. The result is that our hospitals are once again filling up with COVID patients, and some of our schools are requiring students and teachers to once again wear masks.
After our mission trip our very church family experienced more covid cases than we ever would have imagined! With our city school students starting school this week and our county school the week after, we feel it is best for us to postpone the beach retreat scheduled for 8/6/21 and pray for more favorable conditions as we look to hopefully plan a retreat in the fall. As much as we hate to postpone the weekend, through much prayer we believe it is best not to put our students at greater risk as school starts.
We will continue to meet on Sunday’s and Wednesday nights in a safe of manner as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will know we love you and want the best for you and your family. - Bobby
